Then, a 20% advance deposit is required for any trip, trek or expedition which is not refundable - used for reservations of hotels and lodges according to the itinerary.

The remaining balance is due when you arrive at Kathmandu and can be paid by any means convenient to you. We prefer payment via cash (to avoid any extra service charge) but bank transfer, credit cards, western union, and pay pal are also the accepted form of payments.

Langtang Valley Trek Permit:

You only require two different permits—a TIMS Card (Trekking Information Management System) and a Langtang National Park Entry Permit while trekking to Langtang Valley.

There are three types of TIMS cards: blue for organised group trekkers, green for individual travellers, and a pink one for SAARC nationals. You can acquire a TIMS Card from the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) or the Trekkers Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) Secretariat in Kathmandu.

Since you’ll be trekking through Langtang National Park, you'll also need an exclusive National Park Permit to enter the area. The permit is available at the Nepal Tourism Board in Kathmandu, or you can also obtain it from the entry gate at Dhunche.

While issuing a TIMS Card, you’ll require your passport, four passport-size photos, insurance details, and contact details of someone in Nepal. Red Rose Travel Agency oversees the acquisition of all required trekking permits.
